Who Should Go To a Chiropractor?

At Racine Chiropractic Center & Wellness Center, we have helped many people of all ages and from all walks of life with many different complaints including: migraines, menstrual problems, asthma, allergies, diabetes, bedwetting, stomach and digestive problems, fibromyalgia, ADD, and ear infections to name a few, in addition to a wide-range of back, neck and joint pain.

Surprisingly, Dr. Steve Racine in Winter Park does not "treat" any of these conditions. The goal of Atlas Orthogonal chiropractic is to turn on your own inner doctor - your natural healing ability, by correcting spinal nerve stress. This spinal nerve stress interferes with your nervous system and therefore, with your body's ability to function normally. Removal of this interference promotes natural healing, vitality, optimal wellness and the fulfillment of one's maximum potential as a human being.

At Racine Chiropractic Center, we have state-of-the-art technology! Exams that can tell us if your body is suffering from the effects of spinal nerve stress (Subluxations) – and the removal of this unhealthy nervous interference is done through the safest and most scientific methods in chiropractic and allopathic health care.

Atlas Orthogonal Chiropractic is very safe, gentle, painless, and extremely effective for a wide variety of health problems. This type of chiropractic is the most scientific and one of the most effective forms of health care today!

There is no need for drugs or surgeries – only the body's amazing natural healing abilities!

The treatments are done with a percussion instrument. The instrument is non-intrusive and non-threatening.

Depending on the specific misalignments and nerve interference – the instrument is placed specifically and accurately. Once the patient is properly positioned, then a gentle percussive force is generated.

Sometimes – the patients think the adjustment is so light... they are surprised that there's not much more to it! An Atlas Orthogonal doctor is a specialist in the brain stem and upper cervical area. Because the brain (stem) controls all of the body's functions... and the brain stem sits at the level of the Atlas (1st cervical vertebrae) – an Atlas Orthogonal doctor can affect all of the body's function and health.

Absolutely! Children love visiting our office. We love having kids around our office because they always brighten our day. They also really seem to "get" chiropractic and the gentle treatments. They respond very well to chiropractic care and they find it fun. They innately seem to know it is good for them! We encourage chiropractic care to be a family affair. It's never too early to live without nerve interference.

Children do not have the tons of problems that adults generally seem to have, and it is important to keep it that way with a healthy, chiropractic lifestyle.

Can I Afford It?

We firmly believe that the cost of living with nerve interference, and its resulting decrease in health and productivity, is always much greater than the cost of chiropractic care. We also believe that everyone should have access to this care, so we have designed our fee system so that anyone can afford it.

Atlas Orthogonal chiropractic is extremely effective – and less office visits are generally required then the typical "old fashioned" chiropractic, which makes it very affordable for such a great health delivery system! Even though this type of chiropractic is a specialty... it will remain just as affordable as regular chiropractic care at the Racine Chiropractic Center.

Racine Chiropractic Center understands managed care systems of today's society. We will try to take as many insurance policies as possible – but one clinic can not possibly be on all of them.

For those very few not covered through insurance – we will offer discounts and incentives for cash paying patients. It's all a matter of "How Important is Your Health To You?!".

Let's say (hypothetically) that your dog knocks over the TV. I guarantee that close to 100% of you would not ponder if you can even afford a new TV... but you'd be at Circuit City that day, putting a bigger and better TV on the credit card!

But why are people so reluctant to hold their health to that same standard?!

Your health and your body (Nervous System) are not replaceable! You can't trade in your body for a new one, like a used car... so take care of your health and prevent further health problems.

What Should I Expect On My First Visit?

From the first minute you walk in the office, the emphasis will be on you. We are dedicated to provide you and your family with the finest, compassionate, personalized care possible. We want to be your "friendly" doctor's office.

Your first visit will consist of a one on one consultation and health history with the doctor, followed by a thorough exam/analysis of your spine, nervous system, and health concerns.

If there is a need for X-rays, it is done following the exam. Only the structures in question, will need to be X-rayed.

Since we believe in educating all of our patients – no one is "left in the dark" at our office! Once all the exam findings are determined, you will know if you are a candidate for the Atlas Orthogonal treatments. We believe in honesty and integrity, and therefore, we will let you know if we can help you, or if we can not help you.

If we feel we can help you – after the consultation and all exam findings... We will report our findings to you. You will be told exactly what is wrong, how we are going to fix things, and how long it is expected to fix it.
